Concert “Secret Heroes / En présence de William S. Burroughs”, Benoît Delbecq, Doctor Bone a.k.a. Ashley Slater, Jozef Dumoulin, Gilbert Nouno, collaboration Computer Music Design: Jérôme Nika, Grande Salle, Centre Pompidou, Paris, June 22, 2016.

Ircam received in residence and in production for the year 2015 the musician Benoit Delbecq, an artist at the confluence of jazz and new technologies (Laureate of the Villa Médicis Hors les Murs in 2001, he received in 2009 the Fellowship of the Civitella Foundation (New York).
His records “The Sixth Jump” and “Circles and Calligrams” (Songlines, 2010) have received a double Grand Prix International du Disque from the Charles-Cros Academy. “The Sixth Jump” appears in the New York Times’ annual selection “Best 10 discs of pop/jazz 2010”).
The project was entirely configured around the ImproteK technology that I develop and the rendering was integrated into Ircam’s annual international festival, Manifeste, with a concert in the main hall of the Centre Pompidou.
This residence has provided an exceptional return to use, the elements of which have been integrated into the research and development of DYCI2.
The “Secret Heroes” concert (Benoît Delbecq, Doctor Bone a.k.a. Ashley Slater, Jozef Dumoulin, Gilbert Nouno) was the opening evening of the “Beat Generation” exhibition at the Centre Pompidou.
